BumbleBee Autonomous Systems

A big part of my undergraduate time was spent in BumbleBee Autonomous Systems (BBAS) from 2015 to 2019.

I had the privilege to work with many amazing people to build autonomous maritime robots.

(Left) Autonomous surface vessel. (Right) Autonomous underwater vehicle.

We participated in international competitions organized by AUVSI.

These were some of the competition tasks that I was in charge of. I developed algorithms for sensor fusion using particle filters, deep learning for object detection, and more. These algorithms were deployed successfully in challenging environments.

Thanks to our collective efforts, we won 3rd in RoboSub 2017, 2nd in RoboSub 2018, and 1st in Maritime RobotX Challenge 2018.
